Crafted For All.

How our founder’s journey through weightloss became Crafted.

The idea to create a business model that could blend the science of modern-day medicine with the art of one’s own natural beauty and wellness was originally born in 2012, but not yet realized until ten years later in 2022. Robyn Cogburn, a Nurse Practitioner herself, comes from a family of medical professionals and entrepreneurs. So, after finally finding what she refers to as a “magic serum” for weight loss, it was only natural for her to create a business that would allow her to help others enjoy the same benefits she has.

Robyn has struggled with obesity and body image for most of her life. Like many others in her shoes, she tried all of the dieting tricks, exercise regimens, and weight loss products on the market. At times, she saw promising results – even losing 80 pounds with Weight Watchers, only to gain it all back after giving birth to her son. It wasn’t until 2019 when Robyn was given a sample of a drug, originally designed to treat diabetes but recently FDA-approved for weight loss after noticeable patient results, that her mindset toward obesity began to change, along with her physical appearance.

A year and a half later and 90 pounds lighter, Robyn decided to stop taking the “magic drug” and began to gain most of the weight back, once again. She hadn’t changed her lifestyle or habits; the only thing different was that she was no longer taking the weight loss drug. It was then that she realized her struggle with obesity wasn’t “her fault”. Rather, like with any disease, her battle with obesity was caused by some deficit within her body, and whatever that deficit was, the “magic serum” had been treating it. This realization shifted her perspective completely. She finally allowed herself to release the blame she had so long carried – the idea that struggling to keep weight off meant she was somehow broken, that she simply lacked the will-power to give herself the body she’d always wanted, that she just “couldn’t do it”. For the first time in her lifelong battle with obesity, she understood that obesity is a disease, not a character flaw, and it deserves to be treated as such; free from stigmas and judgment and with medicine designed to address the underlying cause.

However, like many prescription drugs, this one came at a high monetary cost to those seeking its powers. Robyn’s solution to this was to compound the drug’s core ingredient, semaglutide, which simulates the body’s hormone Leptin to let you know when you are “full” or satisfied, with her own combination of vitamins and nutrients in the form of a serum. This work-around allows her to offer the weight-loss solution at an affordable price, which sparked Robyn’s quest to begin helping others with their own weight loss journey, and broader view of self-image.

Modern science provides answers and solutions to so many things that people 100 years ago never could have dreamed of having access to, yet even today many people still don’t fully understand what resources are actually available. Robyn believes in educating others about the power of harnessing modern science to address underlying issues within our mind and body through crafted, proven, personalized modalities for improved overall well-being. Robyn’s core goal is to help people realize their natural beauty while using the art of modern medicine to craft the body and positive self-image they desire. Using her knowledge and expertise combined with her personal experiences, she hopes to de-stigmatize and normalize the issues we tend to be most insecure about by providing a community of support and solutions not otherwise or as easily accessible.
